Flower Meadow Painting – An Afternoon Walk
This is an original flower meadow painting using acrylic paints on canvas, it is framed in a gallery made contemporary flat white wooden frame, as shown in the detail photographs.
The painting itself measures 8″ x 6″, the overall size in its frame is approximately 10 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, it is strung and ready to hang straight on your wall. I only ever use Professional Artists Quality Paint so it will remain colourful and vibrant for a lifetime and beyond, all it needs to keep it clean is a gentle dust.
I wanted to create a beautiful and peaceful painting with an idyllic landscape where I’d like to walk, I would also love to live in the little cottage by the lake! I used both acrylic and oil based paints in its creation, I flicked and spattered the paint and added mediums to create a lot of texture and shine.
