Our Garden is looking lovely!

I’m often sharing photos of the beautiful Isle of Wight which is where we live but I thought that today you might like to see some of the beautiful plants which Dave grows in our garden. He decided to make a ‘rose walk’ which was inspired by Hyde Hall garden in Essex. He hung thick rope between several posts and planted 3 varieties of climbing rose to wind their way along. I think they are at their best this year! I bought the lily bulbs several years ago in the reduced section at the garden centre as they were all sprouty – they’ve definitely been worth their £3!

We just have to keep an eye out for the pesky lily beetles which love to nosh on them, luckily they are bright red so easy to spot!
