Seaside Flower Painting – A Haze of Colour
Original Seaside Flower painting on canvas board measuring 20″ x 16 ” and framed in a white wooden gallery frame. The overall framed size is approximately 26.5″ x 22.5″”, it comes strung and ready to hang straight on your wall.
Materials
I used a combination of acrylic and oil based paints with the addition of a medium to add glitter and shine. I only ever use professional quality materials so your painting will remain in perfect conditions for generations to come, all it needs to keep it clean is a gentle dust.
Inspiration
This painting is inspired by summer holidays by the sea. I wanted to create a calm and peaceful seaside scene where you could step off the world for a while – which is what holidays are all about!
I flicked the paint to add movement in a gentle breeze, there are yachts sailing in the distant horizon. I added lots of details into the flowers, I always like to make sure that there a one of two hearts in my paintings.
